2018 Darien Summer Nights (Music by the Spadtastics)

The 2018 Darien Summer Nights Concert Series presents Music by the Spadtastics, a Grateful Dead cover band. The concert is a fundraiser for the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement, an organization with a mission to ensure that every child has access to Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in their classrooms and to help facilitate this teaching within their families, schools and communities.

The group performs once a year, and it was formed by the late David Spadacinni, a former Darien resident.
